Read the post by rock999... Have asked in my reply to rock999's post for those who are in the know to share with us here if the snorkelling or diving is affected.

Perhaps diving can but not at the reef areas. Let's see how thing pan out. I been diving in Tioman this weekend, oh well, it is practice run before the diving trip later this year in Bali.

Lets hope for the best.

September during Hari Raya should be fine to scuba dive on most days if not all days.

Weather is unpredictable but if you're asking in general... yes, even as late in EARLY October, scuba diving is possible even for an amaetur diver like myself. We have done multiple dives in day in March 2009 and October 2009, and both times with Laguna Dive Centre.
