More More Tea Inn
The More More Tea Inn (also known as 'More More Cha' in Cantonese) was a prop used in the Summer Holiday movie which catapulted Redang to international fame. As a Redang icon, it marked the the beginning of Redang island's rapid transformation into a commercially popular destination, like what the movie South Pacific did for Tioman island (the legendary island of Bali Hai).
The original More More Tea Inn seen from the front beach of Redang Reef Resort, June 2001. It was demolished to make way for Laguna Redang Resort which now occupies that stretch of beach.
