Lionfish
Lionfish, stonefish and devilfish belong to the Scorpionfish family of fishes which have venomous fin spines. While most scorpionfish are well-camouflaged out of sight on the seabed, rocks or near other shelter, lionfish are like swimming advertisements, calling attention to themselves because of their bright colours and fanciful display of long fins and spines.
