Rays and sharks
The blue-spotted ray and black-tip reef shark are among the most commonly encountered ray and shark species in Redang. They can be seen in shallow housereefs like those around Pasir Panjang and Teluk Kalong. Other ray species can also be seen in sandy bottom areas like Pulau Kerengga, Tanjung Cina Terjun and Chek Isa.
