Large pufferfish like the Star puffer, yellow-tailed barracudas and titan triggerfish are commonly seen in Redang waters. The titan triggerfish is probably the most aggressive fish especially during nesting season. It has powerful jaws that it uses to feed on urchins and can easily bite a hole in rubber fins. Steer clear of it during nesting season.
