Sipadan (2003): Borneo Divers Resort
Borneo Diver's Sipadan Island Dive Lodge resort was located right at the Drop-off where the shallow reef plunged 2000 feet a stone's throw from the beach. Shore dives here meant wall diving, earning Sipadan the title of 'best beach dive in the world'. Today, all resorts have been cleared out of Sipadan to preserve the island.
