Sipadan (2003): Sharks
Sharks are commonly seen in Sipadan, especially the white-tip reef shark which likes to rest on sandy bottoms. While most sharks need to keep swimming in order to force water through their gills to breathe, the white-tip reef shark is one of the few species that can breathe while at rest.
