Tenggol remains one of the last few unspoilt islands off the east coast of peninsular Malaysia, thanks to the lack of commercialization and relatively low number of visitors. Quiet beaches and lazy days by the beach surrounded by nature marks a typical day in Tenggol.
The underwater scenery at Tenggol comprises beautiful coral gardens in the calm bay, coral covered wall dives and challenging drift dives that offer opportunities to spot pelagics and even the occasional migratory whale shark.
